The amount of data stored in the registry will continually grow as you use Windows. And the larger the registry becomes the more your computer’s performance will be decreased and become unstable. One thing to check is how long has it been on your computer since your anti-virus has run a “whole” computer scan? A virus protection program will usually not run a full virus scan unless you schedule it.
